Abstract: The report of a 14-man Committee raised by the Lagos State Government to look into the apex court's judgement has been submitted to the Governor for further action.

The report of a 14-man Committee raised by the Lagos State Government to look into the apex court's judgement has been submitted to the Governor for further action. The Supreme Court had granted ownership of a large portion of the state industrial site at Iganmu and its environs to the Ojora Chieftaincy Family. The report indicate that the State Government has begun studying the report of the 14 man committee, which essentially prescribed that the Ojora Family should  carry the state along  in its compliance with the judgement.

The Government and family representatives has duly endorsed the contents of the report, which has been sent to the Governor through the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Lands Bureau, Mr Gbenga Ashafa. Sources did not however give further details on the committee’s recommendations.
