What are Solar Road Studs?
SOLAR ROAD STUDS (SRS) are the new age replacements for the conventional reflective road studs popularly known as CAT EYES.

How do they work?
During the day, the Solar Road Stud absorbs sunlight and changes it into electrical energy. During the night, it will then light up without external power sources. A mere two or three hours worth of sunlight can be converted into a staggering eight to ten days worth of illumination when the solar road stud is fully charged.

What are some of the benefits?
Unlike traditional reflective road studs, there is no need for the presence of headlights to activate the solar road studs, as they consistently stay lit up or flash, regardless of exterior lighting sources. On some models, a photocell activates the light at sunset or in harmattan weather. Solar Road Studs can be customised with any different combination of available colours. The units can be of steady flashing light model, with double-sided illumination.

How strong is it?
Due to the aluminium alloy and poly carbonate makeup and reinforced glass, the solar road studs are absolutely weather resistant/virtually indestructible. They are completely self-contained, require no maintenance, and are designed to handle extremely high compression. Solar Road Stud units can withstand the load of over 20tons per tire.

What is the average life span?
