Messrs Soe properties Limited a professional real estate firm in Nigeria has unveiled a new estate on the Lekki axis named Heavens Gate Estate, targeted at medium income earners. The estate is located at Aiyeteju, a serene environment on Km 36 Lekki/Epe expressway in the Ibeju Lekki Local council. Another estate christened Soe property luxury Apartments located at the Lekki phase1 is also been planned to house 70 units of one bedroom flats. The new estate is expected to provide residential accommodation to an estimated 40 families.

 

A visit by Castles to the Estate last week revealed that some of the infrastructural works such as drains has been completed while work is on-going on the laying of interlocking paving stone on the roads, electrification of the entire estate. But the promoters assured that all facilities and first phase of the project would be completed at the end of the first quarter of the year. It also comprises four units of model houses.

 

Already a set of two model houses has been completed while two others have reaches advanced stages. The estate comprises of 40 units of various house types such as two bedroom detached bungalow, two bedroom semi detached bungalow, three bedroom detached bungalow and four bedroom Terrace houses. All room are ensuite. The prices of the units range from N18million to N35million.

The Managing Director, Soe properties Limited, Mr Olisa Obigwei disclosed that their mission as a real estate development company is to give every Nigerian an opportunity to own their own  homes or invest in the real estate market through the development of quality and affordable houses in various location in the country. About 40 per cent of the units have been sold out.

According to Obigwei, Heavens Gate Estate is packaged with a flexible payment plans. Full payment ensures 5% discount on cost of sale. The second option is 50% down payment, 50% balance spread over two years which could be paid monthly, biannually or quarterly depending on what is most suitable for you. The third option is 30% down payment, 35% after 90 days (when dpc is achieved), 30% after 90 days (lentel/ roofing is achieved), 5% on delivery. The fourth option is 10% commitment, 30% after 90 days (dpc achieved), 30% after 120 days (lentel / block work is achieved), and 30% after 270 days (roofing is achieved). Mortgage facility, where the lenders provide 70% as a bulk payment within 90 days after the payment of the after the payment of the commitment fee to effect a firm order and 30% of the total sale price as commitment fee to effect a firm order.

The delivery period of the housing estate is estimated at December 2010.
