In keeping with its commitment to create sustainable value for the investors in the 1004 Residential Estate projects, the 1004 Estates Limited, management company owned by the UAC Property Development Company (UPDC) led consortium, has appointed Alpha Mead Facilities & Management Services as Lead Facilities Manager for the Estate following a keenly competitive tendering process beginning with an open call for tender in the national newspapers with subsequent technical and commercial bidding and competency assessment presentations and interviews

AlphaMead Facilities and Management Services company was incorporated in January 2006 with  a primary focus to provide facility management, project management and real estate development consultancy, training and professional services delivery support to corporate organizations and private investors with major real estate assets such as the 1004 Estates. In collaboration with her foreign technical partners Newmark GMS UK, Alpha Mead’s execution strategy is aimed at delivering best value to the owners/occupiers of the estate using global best practices, systems and standards.

In this regard, Newmark GMS and Alpha Mead have appointed Mr Bob Daglish, a British national with over 30 years experience in mechanical and electrical services who has practiced facility management for several years with the Royal Navy and possesses the right capabilities and experience to lead the team of facility managers and skilled technicians to be deployed in managing the 1004 Estates.

Alpha Mead Facilities currently handles Facility Management services for commercial and residential and properties for clients in various sectors of the economy including Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO), Total E & P, Primrose Properties Investment Limited, Treasure Gardens Estate, amongst others. 

The 1004 Estates which has been newly added to its portfolio is arguably one of the biggest single private estates occupying that number of people in a single location in the whole of Africa.
